Policy
The purpose of the display case in the Altamont Free Library is to educate and entertain the
visitors to the Library and to provide an opportunity for local groups or individuals to share their interests, hobbies or activities.
Procedure
Individuals and groups wishing to exhibit should apply at the Library. The exhibits changed
approximately monthly, will be schedules on a first come basis.
Restrictions
- The display case shall not be used to promote partisan political, sectarian religious or
commercial interests. The Director may reject a display based on his or her discretion.
Persons may show artwork or crafters with their contact information but without prices
listed. - The Library does not hold insurance which shall protect the items displayed from Theft
or damage and shall not be held liable.
