Tuesdays at 10:15. This storytime is targeted for 3-5 year olds and includes a craft songs and about 3 books a week. Storytime lasts about 45 minutes. Drop-ins and siblings are welcome.
Wednesdays at 10:15. This storytime is targeted toward 2 and 3 year olds. We read simpler stories and make an age appropriate craft and sing a couple of songs. This storytime lasts about 1/2 an hour. Drop-ins and siblings are welcome.
After School Storytime
New this year we have an afternoon storytime. If you’re not a morning person (or if you’re at work!) join us Tuesdays at 4:30 for a half hour session with short stories and a simple craft.
Our once a month evening storytime is for kids 4-8 and their siblings. We meet the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. for stories and a craft.
The Library has 3 kids book clubs: one for 2nd and third graders which meets the 3rd Wednesday at 4:00, one for 4th and 5th graders that meets the 4th Monday at 4:00 and one for Middle Schoolers and Young Adult Literature, which meets the first Monday at 5:30 (we order pizza). Come to any or all meetings. To get a copy of the current book, call the Library a couple week’s before the meeting date. Snacks are served!
Come in 2nd Tuesday of the month at 4:00 to play Dance Dance Revolution, Karaoke or Guitar hero. Game selection varies by month.
Adult Programs
Computer classes for Adults
Classes are held Tuesdays at 10:15. Our classes range from the very basic to the more advanced (e.g. uploading photos, setting up a blog, downloading a new anti-virus program). Call 861-7239 to make an appointment.
The first Monday of the month at 7:00. This librarian led book club primarily reads contemporary literary fiction. Come to any or all meetings. To get a copy of the current book, call the Library a couple week’s before the meeting date.
First Thursday of the month at 1:00. This community led book club reads a variety of classics, mysteries and whatever else their membership picks. Stop by one day and see for yourself.
